American Youth Soccer Organization Area 1-P

Welcome to the Heart of
Youth Soccer in Los Angeles


Area 1-P is made up of the eight regions of the American Youth Soccer Organization in the heart of Los Angeles: Region 19 - Culver City/Mar Vista/Palms; Region 20 - Santa Monica/Venice; Region 69 - Pacific Palisades/Brentwood; Region 70 - West Los Angeles; Region 76 - Beverly Hills/Bel Air; Region 78 - Hollywood/Wilshire; Region 514 - Los Angeles Central; and Region 1031 - South Los Angeles. These regions span the range from some of the oldest to the newest regions in the AYSO family. Nearly 10,000 players ages 4 1/2 through 18 participate in our programs, which are staffed and run entirely by volunteer coaches, referees and administrators. This page is a meeting place for our extended soccer family.

 Intermediate and Advanced Coaching Clinics for 2005 - Information Now Posted.  You can also get information about various regional coaching and referee clinics on our new and improved clinics page (on Region 76 site).  Need to be certified for Safe Haven?  You can now take the course on-line at San Mateo AYSO's site.  Approved by AYSO National.

Coaches and families - plan on attending Youth Soccer Day at UCLA on September 4, 2005. when the nationally ranked Bruins take on Maryland.  Free coaches symposium and players and coaches get in free.  More details - visit the UCLA men's soccer website and click on the Youth Soccer Day link.

Ken Aston Referee Camps - This year's camp features two FIFA Referees as Principal Instructors: Sandra Hunt and Kari Seitz and will take place on July 22 -24 at Chapman University in Orange, California

Summer Camps 2005 (on Region 76 site)

Thanks to Gerald Maestu (U14 Beverly Hills) for pointing out what soccer is like elsewhere in the country.

  Congratulations to BU19 HOL1, winner of the 2004 Section playoffs and to GU19 SM and HOL, winner and runner-up in the Section playoffs.  Our area swept the U19s.  Our U16 teams did well too but did not progress to Sunday play.  For a full list of Section Upper Division playoff teams placing 1st through 4th, check out our history page.

  CURRENT AND ARCHIVED NEWS. 2004-2005 AREA 1-P U10-U12-U14 All Star and League Champion Playoff results  as well as Upper Division Playoff results are now located on our history page, which records past seasons' champions since 1999-2000 as well as other archived news.

Referees can download the misconduct report form in fill-in PDF format.  Webmaster note - you can fill these in and print them out but YOU CANNOT SAVE THEM unless you have a full copy of Adobe Acrobat, and not just Adobe Reader.
